NORPAC Players of the Week

The Northern Pacific Hockey League (NORPAC) is proud to present the Players of the Week Award.  This recognition is given to league players that have shown to be top performers within the NORPAC.  The Players of the Week Award will be given throughout the regular season.  The Players of the Week for the Week ending January 22, 2012 are as follows:

Offensive Player of the Week: Ricky Doubrava - Seattle Totems

Seattle Forward Ricky Doubrava has been named the NORPAC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in the Totems' series against the West Sound Warriors.  In the two gam set, Doubrava netted 3 goals as well as a game clinching shootout tally to give the Totems win. 

Defensive Player of the Week: Luke Nickels - SO Spartans

This week’s Defensive Player of the Week is Luke Nickels of the Southern Oregon Spartans.  Nickels showed off his play making ability from the blueline as he was able to net 1 goal and 8 assists in the Spartans three game sweep of the Vancouver Victory. 

Goaltender of the Week: Dom DeGuiseppi

The Goaltender of the Week goes to Dom DeGuiseppi of the Yellowstone Quake. DeGuiseppi led his team to a shootout victor over the Eugene Generals in which he stopped 50 of 54 shots in addition to making 8 out of 1o saves in the shootout to secure the win for the Quake.
